Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AfterSport's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. AfterSport is an initiative by Right To Play Foundation, a trust registered under the Indian Trusts Act. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

To participate in the AfterSport program, you must:

• Be an athlete who has competed at district level or above in a recognized sport
• Be between 16 and 40 years of age
• Be an Indian citizen or resident
• Provide valid proof of athletic achievement
• If under 18, have parental or guardian consent

3. Verification Process

Applicants must complete a verification process that includes:

• Payment of a non-refundable verification fee of ₹999
• Submission of identity documents and athletic credentials
• Review by our verification team (typically within 7 days)

We reserve the right to approve or reject applications at our sole discretion. Providing false or misleading information will result in immediate disqualification and potential legal action.

4. Grant Program

Upon successful verification, eligible athletes may receive:

• A grant ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹5,00,000, determined at our discretion based on various factors
• The grant is invested in a portfolio through a SEBI-registered broker in your name
• This is not a loan - there is no repayment obligation
• Grant amounts are subject to fund availability and cannot be guaranteed

5. Lock-in Period

All grants are subject to a mandatory 3-year lock-in period:

• You cannot withdraw funds during the lock-in period
• The lock-in begins from the date of portfolio creation
• After 3 years, you have full control over your portfolio
• Early withdrawal requests will not be entertained except in extraordinary circumstances at our sole discretion

6. Investment Risks

By participating in this program, you acknowledge and accept that:

• All investments are subject to market risks
• The value of your portfolio may go up or down
• Past performance does not guarantee future results
• We do not guarantee any returns on your investment
• You may receive less than the original grant amount upon withdrawal

7. Educational Content

AfterSport provides financial education through WhatsApp lessons and an AI coach:

• Content is for educational purposes only
• We do not provide personalized investment advice
• Nothing in our content should be construed as a recommendation to buy or sell any security
• You should consult a qualified financial advisor for personalized advice

8. User Responsibilities

As a participant, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Not share your brokerage account access with others
• Engage respectfully with our support team and AI coach
• Report any suspicious activity or security concerns

9. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Submit fraudulent applications or documents
• Create multiple accounts
• Attempt to manipulate or abuse the program
• Use the platform for any illegal purposes
• Harass or abuse our staff or other participants

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your participation in the program if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You provided false information during verification
• You engage in prohibited activities
• We discontinue the program (with appropriate notice)

In case of termination for cause, your portfolio may be frozen pending investigation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any investment losses
• We are not liable for actions of third-party service providers (brokers, payment processors)
• Our total liability shall not exceed the verification fee paid by you
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

12. Intellectual Property

All content, including educational materials, branding, and software, is owned by Right To Play Foundation and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

13. Modifications

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via WhatsApp or email. Continued use of our services after such notification constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
